On September 10th, 2024, we marked World Suicide Prevention Day with a heartfelt event hosted by the Wexford Mental Health Association at Wexford Library.
This day was dedicated to raising awareness about suicide prevention and the importance of mental health support.
The event highlighted the power of networking with various services dedicated to supporting people in need. It was inspiring to see so many organizations come together, united by a common goal: to provide help and hope to those who need it most.
We were delighted to offer outreach materials to everyone who visited our stand. The response was overwhelmingly positive, and it was heartening to see so many people engaging with the resources and information provided.
A special thank you goes out to the library staff and the event organizers for their hospitality. The atmosphere was made even more vibrant by the wonderful music from Emily, Luke, and Garth, whose performances added a special touch to the day.
We look forward to more amazing events like this, spreading the crucial message that help is here when people need it. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that no one has to face their struggles alone.
