Ss Michael's and Peter’s Junior School in Arklow has demonstrated its commitment to the community by organizing a fantastic non-uniform day fundraiser in support of the East Coast Samaritans. This wonderful initiative has not only raised vital funds for the branch but also helped spread the word to families about the vital support services available to anyone in need by calling 116 123 or emailing [email protected].
The school, well-known for its strong sense of community and dedication to fostering a caring environment, has long been a pillar of support for local initiatives. Their efforts in encouraging students and families to come together for meaningful causes are truly commendable.

A special thanks goes to Michelle, the chairperson of the Parents’ Association, whose leadership and dedication played a pivotal role in the success of this event. The Parents’ Association has been an integral part of the school’s community efforts, tirelessly supporting various activities and creating opportunities for parents and students to make a positive impact.
“We are extremely grateful to Ss Michael's and Peter’s Junior School for their incredible support,” said a spokesperson for East Coast Samaritans. “Fundraisers like these make a real difference and allow us to continue providing a listening ear to those who need it most. It’s also a valuable opportunity to remind parents that support is always available by calling 116 123.”
East Coast Samaritans extend their heartfelt gratitude to the students, parents, staff, and supporters who made this event a success. It’s through these collective efforts that communities can come together to help those in need, fostering hope and understanding for all.
The school will host a Boot Sale on 12th April from 10:00 AM in St Peters Building, Castle Park Arklow, providing another opportunity for community engagement. The East Coast Samaritans are delighted to have a stand at the Boot Sale, where they’ll share awareness materials and information about their services.
