East Coast Samaritans and other organisations were delighted to receive a generous donation by the committee of the 'Golden Circle Social Club' East Coast Samaritans were invited to the Arklow Bay Hotel where Paul and Damien met Gertie, Joe and Andy from the Golden Circle committee. Damien and Paul expressed their extreme gratitude for the donation and told them kindness like this helps to keep our branch open and be there for our callers. Damien and Paul took the opportunity to give Gertie and the committee members some pens, wristbands, leaflets and cards to bring back to their social group. They were delighted to learn more about what Samaritans do.
The Golden Circle social group is open to members of all ages from Arklow and surrounding areas. This is a social group to promote social inclusion and integration for the benefit people in Arklow and surrounding areas.
The committee of the Golden Circle social group are starting to plan trips and events for later this year as restrictions begin to ease.
All events subject to Covid-19 restrictions being fully lifted, especially those restrictions that relate to the numbers allowed on buses.
