East Coast Samaritans were delighted to attend the Gerard Murphy Memorial Car Show and Road Run held at The Mart in Enniscorthy on Sunday 06th October 2024.
The event showcased an amazing array of cars from all ages, with drivers traveling from all over Ireland to participate. The music and entertainment were equally spectacular, creating a vibrant and memorable day in honor of Gerard Murphy.
This special day not only provided a fantastic outing for all who attended but also played a crucial role in raising awareness about the support services available to those in need. East Coast Samaritan volunteers were proud to be part of an event that highlights the importance of reaching out for help and the resources available to the community. Other support services were also present, further emphasizing the network of help available.
“We are incredibly grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event,” said Damien Byrne, Branch Director of East Coast Samaritans. “The Gerard Murphy Memorial Car Show and Road Run is a testament to the power of community and the importance of remembering those we have lost while supporting those who need it most.”
The success of this event was made possible by the huge amount of preparation and work put in by the organizers. Samaritans continue to offer support and services to anyone in need, emphasizing that help is always available. Events like these are vital in spreading the message that no one has to face their struggles alone.
