Samaritans has teamed up with Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) as part of a partnership aimed at developing more online and digital support services.
The initiative sees volunteers from the Anglia Ruskin Samaritans Hub in Chelmsford help with our online chat pilot, a digital innovation Samaritans is trialling to ensure we are offering the most effective support possible to those who need it, wherever they are in the UK.
Volunteers will also be able to answer telephone calls from the public as part of our 24-hour emotional support service.
We’re keen to hear from any Anglia Ruskin students, staff or alumni who are interested in becoming a volunteer. Please scroll down to "volunteer with us" to learn more.
This page is for anyone interested at volunteering at the ARU Chelmsford location. If you would like join the ARU Cambridge team please follow this link instead: https://www.samaritans.org/branches/aru-cambridge/.
