By joining the Lived Experience panel you can become involved in our work and have your voice heard. You will have the opportunity to influence and shape the future of Samaritans' work, products, and services by completing short surveys and polls. Your participation is voluntary and you can choose which surveys you would like to complete based on your interests.
Over the past 2 years the panel grown from strength to strength and now has approximately 600 members and has influenced over 38 pieces of work.

Two Year Audit
Following the launch of the panel in 2021, we conducted an audit to see how the panel has been working, as well as recommendations for further development of the panel.
The audit explored three main areas:
- The experience of panel members
- Organisational usage of the panel
- The accessibility of the panel and diversity of the current member base
